The main building style is Art Deco (masonry and concrete), built in 1937 and renovated in 1955 with an addition of a second floor office. The 7,000 sq. ft. crane bay was constructed in 1945. The building was originally occupied by Luitink Manufacturing until 1968. In 1998, the building was purchased by five artists, and is still owned by two — Michael Nolte and Beth Sahagian-Allsopp — who own and operate Vanguard Sculpture Services, a fine art bronze casting and sculpture restoration art gallery.

Visitors will enter the Art Gallery and view the current exhibition, artists will be on hand to answer questions. Guided tours of the art bronze casting facility or self guided tours are available. Vanguard associates will be on hand for tours and to explain the bronze casting process.
